I got inspired by =FROdominatrix
and made my own set. I used a different stitch pattern than she did, though.
So now I don't have to buy cotton pads anymore but can use these crocheted scrubbies for taking off make-up (that I rarely ever wear
) and using astrigents or toners.
The green, blue and dark blue ones are 80% cotton and 20% microfiber (and suuuuuper soft), the beige ones are 100% organic, naturally dyed cotton and the white ones are 100% cotton. They wash very well and get really soft after washing and ironing them.
Yep, I love em and they are all made from leftover scrap yarn bits and pieces that would have been way too small for any other projects.
Now, off to make some wash cloths with the bigger leftover yarns.
