This is my first tutorial, hope someone finds it useful! Original is twice the size of full view, use the download function to see the big version!

Some more tips I thought of after finishing the graphic:
- get a picture frame with a broad border, this will help with stability! Make sure it has a removable backing that you can cut and put back in!
- make sure your glue is completely dry before putting the backing back in the frame, you don't want it to get moldy in there or anything. If you have a high power stapler, try using that instead, you won't need glue then. If you have a wooden frame AND a high power stapler, you could just staple the felt and foam to the frame. Get creative and adjust the method to your materials and needs.
- you will want to use foam rubber AND felt. The felt is for good looks, foam rubber alone gets quite grubby after a while. The felt alone would not have enough stability!
- this will work for studs as well as hook type earrings.
