May Artisan Crafts DDs

Hey everyone!

Here's a summary of all the wonderful Artisan Craft deviations that I featured as DDs in May! I hope you enjoy:

May 1:

Eagles by ~Kestrel88 is made up of over 700 pieces of fabric. That's right, it's all made of fabric. The background is even hand painted with fabric dye to match the shades of blue in the mountain range and clouds.

=wereremjiff's gallery is packed with adorable critters. hyirbis_doll__commission is a hyena/snow leopard hybrid creature, sculpted and painted with amazing detail and simply super duper cute!

Posie fairy wings in red by ~glittrrgrrl are gorgeously created fairy wings with lots of detail work and a beautiful color scheme.

Rose Red and Snow White by ~Paper-Peachesis an itty bitty tiny origami rose in a vial. The detail and scale of this is stunningly amazing, the artist needed tweezers to get this one right.

The Sleeper Dreams by ~lindseycarr is a hand painted paper theater, housed in an old clock case. A beautiful creation with a retro feel to it.

May 7:

The creation of stuffed animals that do not exist in real life is called rogue taxidermy. The Jersey Hellhound by =Knuxtiger4 is a perfect example of this art for. The artist used parts from different animals to create her vision of a hell hound.

Using only pipe cleaners is a creative and challenging way to sculpt creatures and =teblad has perfected this art with her dragons, as shown in Pipecleaner Dragon of Storms.

Where the Damned Lie by ~Rajala is an amazing one of a kind couch with abundant details. The whole construction has been forged from steel, not cast, and can be taken apart into three parts for easier transportation.

Birds in the garden by ~Chuncarv is a centerpiece created from carved food items. Yes, as beautiful and intricate as this is, it is completely edible!
